Welcome. You may be visiting this page for a variety of reasons. Regardless of what those are, you deserve to be commended for the initiative you’re taking for your wellbeing. It’s good to be curious about our inner workings.

There are times in everyone’s life when we feel out of balance. Personal issues. Relationship issues. Work issues. Loss. The state of the world. Or, during particularly challenging times, all of the above.

My therapeutic approach is designed to help you untangle the issues that are blocking you from living the life you want. There is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, and I like to work with you to figure out which tools are right for your challenges and your unique self.

No matter which type of therapy is right for you, being able to talk through challenges in a supportive environment with someone who actively listens is really helpful in regaining our balance.

Experience & Approach
Throughout my counselling career, I have worked with a wonderfully diverse range of people across a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. While we are all unique, something we share as human beings are life challenges; I have helped people navigate esteem issues, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, work-life balance, and more.

I started my career as a counsellor nearly 20 years ago in San Francisco, California, where I helped launch a community counselling centre and consulted with individuals, couples, and families there. After relocating to the UK 15 years ago, I have maintained my counselling practice here in London. I am a registered practitioner with the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.)

As an avid cyclist and someone who loves the outdoors, I am a big believer in the mind-body-nature connection and an organic, holistic approach to therapy.

My Specialisms

Therapy provides you with a safe space where you can build a toolkit to regain your balance. As someone who has worked as a counsellor for nearly 20 years, I have experience helping a wide range of people with an array of challenges, using a variety of therapeutic approaches. Some of the challenges I’ve helped individuals, couples, and families with include:

–Life transitions: Life changes are moments that may represent opportunity, but can feel very daunting. I have helped people navigate issues arising from young adulthood, job changes, parenthood, moving/relocating, ageing, and loss.

–Stress, anxiety, and depression: Sometimes, things can feel overwhelming. Really overwhelming. We can work together to choose the therapeutic approach that works best for you to help restore centredness and positivity in your life.

–Relationship issues: It’s normal to have issues in our relationships with others, whether those relationships are romantic connections, work dynamics, family bonds, and/or friendships. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families to help develop more stable, balanced ways of relating to others.

–Motivation: Sometimes, you’re looking to take that next step in your career. Start a new creative project. Run a half-marathon. But something seems to get in the way. I’ve worked with career professionals, creative people, and athletes on the mental obstacles that can get in the way of our achieving our personal best.
