About Me

About Me
I’m Teresa, a therapist with over 30 years work experience in IT, most in the high-pressure airline world. I’ve juggled motherhood, divorce, single parenting, and caring for loved ones through health struggles - experiences that taught me life’s ups and downs. I’ve built strong bonds working in a male world - men of all backgrounds, sexualities, ages, and races -shaping how I approach relationships in therapy.

Growing up in a family where emotions were suppressed, I started in a logical career. Through my lived experiences I have grown to love supporting people through life’s messiness. Now, I blend that real-world insight with warm empathy in my therapy practice, tailoring it to your unique story.

My Specialisms

I support individuals (18+) with anxiety, relationship struggles (not couple counselling), and life transitions, helping you untangle your emotions and build stronger connections with yourself and others.

Relationship Counselling
Whether you’re at a crossroads, in conflict, or grieving a loss, I bring a warm understanding of relationships’ complexities to help you find your way forward.

Counselling for Carers
With over 10 years supporting carers - especially those aiding loved ones with mental health conditions, eating disorders or chronic conditions - I offer a caring space to build resilience and cope.

Counselling for Young Adults
Drawing on my university experience, I support young adults (18-25) through independence, social challenges, anxiety, and depression with a gentle touch.
