About Me

Hi, I'm Henry. I'm a Humanistic Counsellor registered with BACP. My background has been in the music industry and teaching. As music is a source of healing, I realized the gifts of this work that I have, attunement, sensitivity and empathy, has naturally led me to counselling.

I will help you to find that sensitivity and attunement to yourself in times of distress. Whether it's working with anxiety and depression or relationship struggles and childhood experiences, I will provide a safe space for you to be seen and heard.

Starting therapy can be daunting, my approach is very gentle and whatever you bring to therapy, we will go at your own pace. As a Humanistic practitioner I believe that you have the power to change and grow, and I will humbly support you on that journey of finding your authentic happy self.

My Specialisms

Over the last few years I have worked extensively with bereaved clients, carers and cancer patients. I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, identity loss, abuse, relationship difficulties, grief, adverse childhood experiences, and inner child work.

My passion is working sensitively and intuitively with inner child work and looking at various 'parts' of self that have been neglected. I also like to work with somatic practices to help clients become more in touch with how they feel in their bodies.
